Multi page diagrams

A draw.io diagram can contain several pages, which is the right way to hold a set of related views: an overview and its detail, or one page per environment.

On the Confluence page, readers can switch between pages when the macro is in Classic display mode.

#What this is for

  • An overview diagram with detail pages behind it.

  • One diagram per environment, kept together.

  • A set of related views you want to keep in one place.

#A few things that catch people out

  • Readers only get page switching in Classic display mode. In other modes they see the first page.

  • Every page is in one file, so they version together. That is usually what you want.

  • Do not use pages as a filing system. Three or four is sensible; twenty is a folder.
