Diagram indexing
Diagrams are indexed in the background: their text becomes searchable, a preview image is rendered and attached, and templates appear in the picker.
None of this is instant, and knowing that saves a lot of confused refreshing.
#When you would change this
A new diagram that is not showing up in search.
A template that has not appeared in the picker yet.
Understanding why an export shows an older rendering.

#A few things that catch people out
The page itself is correct immediately. Only search, previews and pickers lag.
An export taken seconds after an edit may contain the previous rendering.
If something has not appeared after several minutes, that is worth reporting rather than waiting on.
