Administration
Capable Diagrams works with no configuration at all, which is the point. Everything on this branch is optional, and most sites change two or three things: the language list, a space display mode, and possibly a shape library.
The one rule worth learning first is where each setting lives, because a setting changed at the wrong level appears to do nothing.
#The three levels
Level | Who can change it | Covers |
|---|---|---|
Site | Confluence administrator | Languages, shape libraries, global templates, egress, renderer, AI |
Space | Space administrator | Rendering defaults for every diagram in the space |
Macro | Anyone who can edit the page | One diagram, overriding the space |
Start with space settings. They fix the most common complaints, need only space admin, and are reversible without touching any page.

Two settings and a shape library. That is usually all of it.
