Migrate to Capable

If you are moving to Capable from another Confluence app, the hard part is not installing Capable. It is the thousands of pages already using somebody else's macros.

The migration assistant converts those pages for you. It recognises 110 macros from 28 apps, converts what it can, reports what it cannot, and writes every change as a new page version so nothing is lost.

#The three things worth knowing before you start

Nothing is deleted	Every changed page gets a new version, so the previous one, with the original macro, stays in Confluence page history.
Verify first	A dry run reads every page and writes nothing. For diagrams it substitutes a stand-in drawing, so pilot one real space as well.
Download the log	Results live in your browser tab and nowhere else. Three repair tools and rollback all need that file.
