Mention someone in a diagram comment
To mention someone in a comment on a Capable diagram in Confluence, open the diagram's comments, type @ followed by the first letters of their name, and pick them from the list. When you send the comment, Confluence notifies them in the usual way, and the mention links to their profile.
#Before you start
You need to be able to edit the diagram to write a comment.
The person you want to mention must have a Confluence account you can find in people search.
#Steps
Hover over the diagram, select Maximize, then select Comments.
In the comment box, type
@at the start of a line or after a space, then the start of the person's name. You can also select Mention someone (@) below the box.Pick the person from the list with the mouse, or with the arrow keys and Enter.
Finish your comment and select Comment, or press Cmd+Enter on a Mac or Ctrl+Enter on Windows.
#What happens next
The comment shows the person's name as a mention, and Confluence sends them its normal mention notification with a link back to the comment.
#If it does not work
No people found means the search found nobody by that name. Check the spelling, or try their surname.
A name typed without picking it from the list stays plain text and notifies nobody. Type
@again and pick them.If two people share a display name, check the avatar before you pick. A comment that mentions two different people with the same name cannot be edited later in Capable.
