Import diagrams from a page
Rather than redrawing something a colleague already made, bring it in. The scan finds diagrams across the pages you can see.

From the insert dialog, choose to import from a page. Point at the page, review what was found, and pick the diagrams you want.

Capable diagrams on the page.
Diagrams from other vendors' macros, where the format is understood.
Attached diagram files such as .drawio and .vsdx.
Importing copies. The imported diagram becomes independent, so editing it does not change the original. If you want one shared source, see Reuse one diagram on many pages.
#A few things that catch people out
You only see diagrams on pages you have permission to read.
A copy does not track the original. If the source changes, your copy will not.
Scanning a very large page tree takes time; narrow it to the page you mean.
