Google Analytics for Confluence

Google Analytics for Confluence (by Capable) connects your Confluence Cloud site to your own Google Analytics 4 property, then shows the resulting traffic data back inside Confluence.

Tracking is site-wide and invisible: a hidden background script loads Google's own gtag.js in every reader's browser and records page views etc.

Logged-out readers of public pages are tracked too (recorded as "anonymous"). Optionally, the app can also send server-side events for searches, comments and page create/update, which needs an extra Measurement Protocol API secret.

You read the data back through a global reports page, a per-space reports page, and a "Google Analytics" macro you can drop onto any page.
