What is not available

Every product has a shape people expect it to have, and this is where this one differs from that shape. Nothing here is coming in a particular release; it is simply not offered today.

The page exists so you can plan around it rather than spending an afternoon looking for a switch.

#Not available

• Reminders. Capable Calendar does not send reminders.

• Repeating events. There are no repeating or recurring events in the product.

• Calendar and Clock in Jira. There is no Calendar page in Jira and no Clock gadget for Jira dashboards.

• Export from the Calendar macro's compact menu. Export → iCal and Export → CSV appear in the macro's compact overflow menu but do nothing when clicked. The same options on the full Calendar page do work, so use those instead.

• PDF and Word export of the Calendar, Clock and Event macros. Exported documents show a warning panel in place of the macro.

• Brand theming of the Calendar, Clock and Event macros. Org brand themes leave these macros as they are. That is deliberate, as they are not treated as a core themed surface.

• Some macro parameters. The Calendar macro's "Display" parameter and its "Options" (participant avatars) parameter, and the Clock macro's "Display" parameter.

• A Calendar tab in space settings. The only space-level control is the standard Auto, Always or Never visibility setting that every capability has.

• An "all user events" or "show only my events" setting. You will not find it on saved calendars, and there is no control for it anywhere.

• Scheduled clean-up of orphaned calendars. This has not been built or released.

#A few things worth knowing

• If one of these is the reason you are evaluating the product, say so before you buy rather than after.

• The list changes with each release, so check the release notes before assuming it still applies.

• Where the app's own wording differs from this page, believe the app.
