Every product has a shape people expect it to have, and this is where this one differs from that shape. Nothing here is coming in a particular release; it is simply not offered today.

The page exists so you can plan around it rather than spending an afternoon looking for a switch.

#Not available

  • Reminders. Capable Calendar sends no reminders.

  • Repeating / recurring events. There are no repeating events in the product.

  • Jira Calendar page and Jira Clock dashboard gadget.

  • Export → iCal and Export → CSV from the Calendar macro's compact overflow menu. The menu items render but have no action attached. The equivalents on the full Calendar page do work.

  • PDF and Word export support for the Calendar, Clock and Event macros. Exported documents show a warning panel instead of the macro.

  • Brand theming of the Calendar, Clock and Event macros. The brand-theming path deliberately returns these macros unchanged, on the basis that they are not a core thematic surface.

  • The Calendar macro's "Display" parameter and its "Options" (participant avatars) parameter, and the Clock macro's "Display" parameter.

  • A Calendar-specific space settings tab. Space-level control is only the generic Auto / Always / Never capability visibility control.

  • An "all user events" / "show only my events" setting. It is read on the built-in Mentions calendar but is not a real saved-calendar setting and no control writes it.

  • Orphaned-calendar cleanup schedule.

  • No user-visible behaviour.

  • Not built or released.

#A few things worth knowing

  • If one of these is the reason you are evaluating the product, say so before you buy rather than after.

  • The list changes with each release, so check the release notes before assuming it still applies.

  • Where the app's own wording differs from this page, believe the app.

Better to know now than hunt for a switch.
