Add a world clock to a Confluence page

To add a world clock to a Confluence page, insert the Clock (Capable) macro. On the Content tab, select Add Zone for each place, choose its Time Zone and give it an optional Title, such as London office. Drag zones into order, set colours on the Style tab and publish.

#Before you start

  • You need edit rights on the page.

  • In the standalone app the macro is called Clock macro (Capable).

#Steps

  1. Edit the page, type /clock and choose Clock (Capable).

  2. On the Content tab, under Time Zones, select Add Zone and choose the Time Zone.

  3. Enter a Title (optional), such as a city or an office name.

  4. Repeat for each place, and drag the zones into the order you want.

  5. On the Style tab, set the Background, Text and Accent colours and the layout, then publish.

#A few things that catch people out

  • The Clock macro is not available in Jira.

  • Exported PDF and Word documents show a notice in place of the clock.
