Create a shared team calendar in Confluence
To create a shared team calendar in Confluence, open Capable Calendar, choose Create calendar under Space calendars, name it and save. Your team adds events by clicking a date. Put the calendar on any page with the Calendar (Capable) macro and turn on Event editing so people can add events there too.
#Before you start
You need permission to create content in the space. The calendar is stored as Confluence content there and follows that space's permissions.
For a calendar everyone on the site can use, create it under Global calendars instead, if you have permission.
#Steps
Open Capable Calendar from the space sidebar or the Apps menu. In the suite, open Capable and choose Calendar.
In the sidebar, under Space calendars, choose Create calendar.
Enter the Calendar Name and, if you like, a Description and Base Timezone, then save it.
Click a date in the calendar to add an event. Event names need 4 to 100 characters.
On the team's page, insert Calendar (Capable), set Source to the new calendar, and turn on Event editing.
Publish the page.
#What happens next
Everyone who can see the space sees the calendar, and everyone who can edit there can add and change events, from the Calendar page or the macro. Anyone can follow it in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook with a personal subscription link.
#If it does not work
Create calendar is missing or greyed out. You do not have permission to create content in this space, or its calendar storage is still being set up. Refresh after a moment.
Teammates cannot add events. They need edit rights in the space, and the macro needs Event editing on.
