Calendar

Shows the dates on a page, or the events in a saved Capable calendar, as a calendar in one of five views. Events appear as coloured cards with the title in bold, an avatar stack of the people involved, and a split or check icon for decision and task items. Point at a card to see its details.

#Settings

The macro's settings sit on two tabs. Content decides what the calendar shows and where it opens. Style looks after the frame around it.

#Content tab

Setting	Values	What it changes
Source	A saved Capable calendar (from a space or global), or unset	Leave it unset to show the dates already on this page, or pick a saved calendar. The picker also offers Create new calendar.
Event editing	On / off	Lets readers create and edit events from the macro. It only appears once a saved calendar is selected, and clearing the calendar switches it back off.
View	Day, Week, Month, Year, Agenda	The view the calendar opens in. Day and Week lay events out hour by hour, Month is a grid of days, Year is a twelve-month overview, and Agenda lists a week of events in date order.
Start on	Last event, Today, Custom	Which period the calendar opens on. Last event opens on the most recent event, or the next upcoming one if none have passed. Today always opens on today's date, even when the nearest events are months away. Custom opens on the Start date you choose.
Start date	A date	Only used when Start on is Custom, and the date picker only appears once you choose Custom. It must be a complete, real date. It's treated as a local date, so the calendar won't open a day early in timezones west of Greenwich.
Always show all events	On / off	Shows every event on a busy day instead of collapsing the extras into a popover. When it's off, busy days show a +N more link.
Colours	By user, By type, None	How events are colour-coded on the grid. An event's own colour, or the colour of a matching calendar tag, always wins over this setting. In order: the event's own colour first, then the colour of its highest-priority matching tag, then this setting.
Height	400 to 1000 px, in steps of 50	The height of the calendar grid. A saved value outside this range is treated as 400 or 1000, whichever is nearer.
Event types	Capable Event macros, Confluence Date macros, In-Calendar Events	Which sources of dates are drawn. The first two are macros inserted on pages. In-Calendar Events are events created in a saved Capable calendar. With none selected, all of them show.
Hidden on-page events	Dates found on this page, picked by clicking them	Leaves the dates you pick off the grid. Only affects dates found on the current page.

#Style tab

Setting	Values	What it changes
Corner radius	0 to 24 px	Rounds the corners of the calendar's outer frame. You'll only see it once a border or shadow is on.
Shadow	None, S, M, L	Adds a drop shadow around the calendar. None keeps the original frameless look.
Border	On / off, plus a width from 0 to 6 px and a colour	Draws an outline around the calendar. Width and colour only appear once Border is on.
Highlight colour	A brand colour or a custom hex colour, or unset	Tints today and selected dates. Leave it unset to use the theme accent. Your event colours aren't affected.

#Fixed options

These two have only one value, so there's nothing to choose.
