Event

Renders an inline lozenge showing the formatted date range, optionally preceded by the title and followed by the assignee's avatar. When the event's timezone differs from the reader's, the pill shows converted times with a tooltip.

#1. How to insert

Type /event and choose the Capable Event macro.

#2. Configure the macro

Choose the data and time of the event.

Setting	Values	What it changes
Title	Free text, up to 75 characters	"Give your event a title". Only rendered on the page when the Show title option is on. It becomes the event's name in every calendar that picks the macro up.
User	A Confluence user, or none	"Assign a user who is responsible for this event". Shown as an avatar badge next to the pill when Show user is on. Also becomes the event's participant, which is what makes it match mention-based calendar sources and the indexed Capable Dat
Start Date / End Date	Date pickers; the group is labelled "Date" when All-day is o	"When should the event start and end". Choosing an end date earlier than the start date pulls the start date back to match.
Start Time / End Time	A fixed list of times	Hidden entirely when All-day is selected.
Time zone	Any IANA zone, searchable (type at least 2 characters, up to	"Create the timezone for the entered times". The zone the entered wall-clock times are read in. When it differs from the reader's zone, the pill is converted and a tooltip explains the conversion. All-day events use the viewer's own zone in
Options	All-day, Show user, Show title, 24-Hour format	"Change how the event is displayed". All-day hides the time selects and renders a date-only pill. And is also what marks the event as all-day in every calendar and in an iCal feed. 24-Hour format switches the pill between 2 PM and 14:00. Sh
Accent colour	A brand colour or a custom hex; clearable	"Tints the inline date pill. Leave unset to use the default lozenge colour." Inline pills get accent-only branding. There is no background, border, radius or shadow option. The pill text flips to dark or light for contrast.
