Turned off "Confluence Date macros", but dates inside action items still appear
What you are seeing
I turned off "Confluence Date macros", but dates inside action items still appear.
#Why it happens
The action-item branch of the date reader does not honour that switch. Only paragraphs, table rows and standalone date chips do.

#What to do
Remove the date from the action item, or hide that specific event with "Hidden on-page events".

Hide the Calendar capability site-wide | Confluence settings → Capable → Capabilities | Removes Calendar across the whole site. Suite only. The standalone Capable Calendar app has no Capabilities tab, even though its byline still reads the same setting. |
#Limits that apply here
