Permissions and access

Start from what you are seeing rather than from what you think is broken. Each page below names the symptom, explains why it happens, and says what to do about it.

Several of these are the product working as designed, which is worth knowing before anybody raises a ticket.

Revoked link cannot be un-revoked	Revoking a link is permanent by design. Anyone who opens it sees "no longer available" from then on.
Saved calendar's page sources are all off and cannot be turned on	Page sources only apply when at least one event type that comes from pages is switched on. With only "In-calendar Events" on, every page source stays off and cannot be turned on.
Readers cannot change the view inside the macro	By design. The macro uses a compact toolbar without the view switcher.
Cannot create or edit events in a shared calendar	What you can do comes from the Confluence permissions on the calendar itself, and they are checked every time. The built-in calendars (Recently viewed pages, Mentions) are always read-only.
Unlicensed or signed-out visitor lands on the Calendar page and sees a notice instead of the product	By design. The space and global Calendar pages show unlicensed and signed-out visitors a short notice instead of the calendar.
