Permissions and access

Start from what you are seeing rather than from what you think is broken. Each page below names the symptom, explains why it happens, and says what to do about it.

Several of these are the product working as designed, which is worth knowing before anybody raises a ticket.

Revoked link cannot be un-revoked	Revocation is permanent by design. The URL returns "no longer available" forever.
Saved calendar's page sources are all off and cannot be turned on	Page sources only apply when at least one page-derived event type is enabled. With only "In-calendar Events" on, every page toggle is forced off.
Readers cannot change the view inside the macro	By design. The compact macro toolbar hides the view switcher.
Cannot create or edit events in a shared calendar	Permission comes from Confluence content permissions on the calendar itself, re-checked on every request. Built-in calendars (Recently viewed pages, Mentions) are read-only by construction.
Unlicensed or signed-out visitor lands on the Calendar page and sees a notice instead of the product	The space and global Calendar pages deliberately render a static visitor notice for unlicensed and anonymous visitors.
