Subscribed calendar app is missing events I can see in Confluence
What you are seeing
Your subscribed calendar in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook shows fewer events than the same calendar in Confluence.
#Why it happens
The personal iCal feed your calendar app reads has three limits that Confluence itself does not have.
A date window. The feed only covers events from 30 days ago to 365 days ahead. Anything older or further out still shows in Confluence, but never reaches your calendar app.
An event cap. The feed holds up to 1000 events. On a very busy calendar, anything past the cap is left out without a warning.
Update timing. New and changed events take a little while to arrive. After an event is created, edited, moved or deleted, the change usually reaches your calendar app within 5 to 15 minutes.
#What to do
Check the dates of the missing events. If they fall outside the window, there is nothing to fix. The window rolls forward each day, so future events appear as they come into range.
If the calendar has more than 1000 events in that window, split it into several smaller calendars and subscribe to each one.
If you have only just added or changed the event and it has been more than 15 minutes, refresh the calendar in your app.
