Capable Approval
There is no link between the two today. Approval review and expiry dates do not appear on calendars, and calendar events do not affect approvals.
This is a deliberate gap, not a fault. We have noted it here so you do not spend time hunting for a setting that is not there.
#Where you do it
Task | Where |
|---|---|
Show the dates already on a page as a calendar | Page editor → insert "Calendar (Capable)" (Suite) or "Calendar macro (Capable)" (standalone) |
Add a set of world clocks | Page editor → insert "Clock (Capable)" / "Clock macro (Capable)" |
Add an inline event date to a page | Page editor → insert "Event (Capable)" / "Event macro (Capable)" |
#Settings that affect this
Setting | Where | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Calendar subscriptions | Confluence settings → Capable (Capable Calendar in the standalone app) → Features | "Let users subscribe to Capable calendars from Google, Apple, or Outlook via a personal iCal feed. Turn off to disable subscriptions for all users." This setting only appears when your installed app includes Calendar. |
Calendar (global settings tab) | Confluence settings → Capable → Calendar | A card titled "Calendar subscriptions", described as "Personal iCal feed links your users have generated for calendars." It lists each link's user, calendar, status and created date, with Previous and Next buttons to page through. |
Calendar capability visibility | Space settings → Capable → capability list → Calendar | Auto shows the Calendar byline where it is relevant. In the Suite, that means only on pages Capable has already found dates on. Always turns Calendar on for the whole space, and Never hides it there. |
