Who can see your site

You choose who can open your published site, and that choice covers every page on it. Sites are public unless you say otherwise. You set access when you create a site, and you can change it whenever you like in Settings > Access. Changes apply straight away, with no deploy.

Public. Anyone can read it, and it can show up in search engines.
Password. Visitors enter one shared password.
Atlassian. Visitors sign in with their Atlassian account, and you can limit it to certain email domains.
Google. Visitors sign in with Google, limited to the Workspace domains and individual accounts you list.
Microsoft. Visitors sign in with a work or school account from the Microsoft organisations you list.

The create wizard offers the first three. Google and Microsoft are turned on afterwards in Settings, by a Confluence admin.

Confluence page restrictions do not carry over. If a page is in a space you publish, it is on the site. This is the most important thing to check before you publish a space. To keep a page off the site, exclude it or leave its space out of the site.
