"noindex" page still appears in the site's own search and in the sitemap
What you are seeing
A "noindex" page still appears in the site's own search and in the sitemap.
#Why it happens
The noindex setting only adds a tag for external search engines. It does not remove the page from the site's search index, the sitemap, or llms.txt.
#What to do
If a page must not be discoverable at all, exclude it with capable-sites-exclude rather than noindex.
