Create status badge sets for your Confluence site
To create status badge sets for your Confluence site, a site administrator opens Global settings in the Macros sidebar, goes to Status badges, adds a set or copies a built-in one, names its statuses and saves. Editors then see your sets first, under Your organisation, when they load a scheme in any Status badge macro.
#Before you start
You must be a Confluence site administrator.
You can create up to 20 sets, each with up to 20 statuses.
Each set needs at least one status with a title before it can be saved.
#Steps
Open the app from Apps in the Confluence top bar: Capable Formatting, or Capable and then Macros in the suite.
In the sidebar, under Manage, choose Global settings, then open the Status badges tab.
Click Add set, or pick one from Copy a built-in set... to start from an existing scheme.
Type a name in Set name, for example Contract stage.
For each status, enter a Status title and choose its appearance colour. Use Add status for more, and Move up or Move down to order them.
Click Save changes.
#What happens next
The next time anyone opens a Status badge macro, your sets are listed first under Your organisation, above the Built-in schemes, and they can search them by name. Editors can still change the statuses on an individual badge. Badges already on pages are never changed when you edit or delete a set.
