Add a status badge to a Confluence page
To add a status badge to a Confluence page, type /status badge in the editor and pick Status badge (Capable). Load a ready-made scheme or write your own statuses, choose which one is active, and leave Allow changing from the page on so anyone who can edit the page can change it without opening the editor.
#Before you start
You need permission to edit the page.
Capable Formatting, or the Capable suite, must be installed on your Confluence site.
If your administrator has created status badge sets for your organisation, they appear first in the scheme list.
#Steps
Open the page in the editor and put the cursor where the badge should go: in a sentence, a heading or a table cell.
Type /status badge and choose Status badge (Capable). The configuration panel opens.
Click the scheme picker, which reads Load preset..., and pick a scheme. Type in Search status sets to filter the list by name.
Change any status: edit its Title, pick an Appearance colour, use Add Status for another one, or drag a status to reorder it.
Click Set active on the status the badge should show now.
Leave Allow changing from the page on if readers with edit permission should be able to change the status from the published page.
Close the panel and publish the page.
#What happens next
The badge shows the active status. Anyone who can edit the page clicks it on the published page, picks another status from the list, and the change saves straight away. People who can only view the page see the badge but cannot change it.
A badge with only one status cannot be clicked. Add at least two statuses if readers should change it.
