An image or feed will not load
If a macro shows a placeholder where an image, an RSS feed or an embedded page should be, the most likely cause is a domain that hasn't been approved.
A macro that fetches something from outside Confluence can only reach domains an administrator has approved. Without that approval, the reader's browser isn't allowed to make the request, so the macro shows a placeholder instead.

The quickest fix is usually to upload the file to the page as an attachment. If it has to come from a URL, ask your administrator to approve the domain.
Approving a domain is a security decision. The reader's browser then connects to that host directly. Approve only domains you control or trust.
