Suite or standalone
Capable Formatting is sold on its own, and it is also one capability inside the Capable Suite. The macros are the same code either way.
Three things differ, and one of them changes what you type into the macro picker.

The naming rule affects 31 of the 38 macros. This documentation uses the suite name. If you are on the standalone app and cannot find a macro, add the word macro to what you searched for.
#Two real wording differences
LaTeX math inline in the suite is LaTeX inline in the standalone app, dropping the word math entirely.
Capable Studio is the only macro with no (Capable) suffix in either product.
Seven newer macros are named identically in both: Embed/iFrame, 3D Model, Status badge, Countdown, Countdown inline, Metadata and Poll. See Capable for Confluence for what else the suite adds.
#A few things worth knowing
The export difference is the one with real consequences. Check the export matrix before promising a PDF.
Content is not shared between the standalone app and the suite. Moving across is a migration.
Both products get the same macro updates at the same time.
