# Create status badge sets for your Confluence site To create status badge sets for your Confluence site, a site administrator opens **Global settings** in the Macros sidebar, goes to **Status badges**, adds a set or copies a built-in one, names its statuses and saves. Editors then see your sets first, under **Your organisation**, when they load a scheme in any Status badge macro. --- ## Before you start * You must be a Confluence site administrator. * You can create up to 20 sets, each with up to 20 statuses. * Each set needs at least one status with a title before it can be saved. --- ## Steps 1. Open the app from **Apps** in the Confluence top bar: **Capable Formatting**, or **Capable** and then **Macros** in the suite. 2. In the sidebar, under **Manage**, choose **Global settings**, then open the **Status badges** tab. 3. Click **Add set**, or pick one from **Copy a built-in set...** to start from an existing scheme. 4. Type a name in **Set name**, for example Contract stage. 5. For each status, enter a **Status title** and choose its appearance colour. Use **Add status** for more, and **Move up** or **Move down** to order them. 6. Click **Save changes**. --- ## What happens next The next time anyone opens a Status badge macro, your sets are listed first under **Your organisation**, above the **Built-in** schemes, and they can search them by name. Editors can still change the statuses on an individual badge. Badges already on pages are never changed when you edit or delete a set. --- ## Related ### [Status badge](https://help.gocapable.com/macros/status-badge.html) The macro your sets appear in. ### [Add a status badge to a Confluence page](https://help.gocapable.com/macros/add-a-status-badge-to-a-confluence-page.html) What editors do with your sets. ### [Formatting settings](https://help.gocapable.com/macros/formatting-settings.html) Every tab in Global settings. ### [Branding and site-wide macro settings](https://help.gocapable.com/macros/branding-and-site-wide-macro-settings.html) More guides for site administrators. --- _One vocabulary for status, across every space._
