Generates a scannable QR code for a URL (or any text), with an optional caption and the URL printed underneath.

The macro is reached from the editor by typing a slash command.

Put a QR code on a page so people can jump from a screen or a printout to a link on their phone - a sign-up form, a video, a support portal, a Wi-Fi string. The code is generated in the reader's browser, so there is no round trip and nothing is sent anywhere to make it. You can size it, align it, give it a caption and recolour the dark modules to match a brand.

The URL is what the code encodes, while the title, alignment, size and the option to print the address decide how it looks on the page.

What it changes

URL

Any string. It is encoded verbatim into the QR code and is also what clicking the code opens.

The encoded payload. Required. Empty renders a placeholder image with "Missing URL" in red.

Title

Free text

A bold caption rendered directly beneath the code. Empty means no caption.

Options

Checkbox group with exactly one option: "Show URL"

When checked, the URL text is printed under the code (under the title, if there is one).

Align

left, center, right

Where the code sits across the macro's width.

Size

Pixels. Input offers 50–1000 in steps of 25 and clamps on blur.

Both the width and the height of the square code image (the value is passed as `width` to the generator and used for both img dimensions). The schema title for this field is "Height".

QR color

A brand-scheme colour from the "background" category, or a custom colour when the tenant allows them. Hint in the panel: "The dark modules - keep it dark so the code stays scannable."
