What you are seeing
A published site shows 'This image could not be exported (download failed)' or '(content not found or no longer available)'
#Why it happens
There are two possible causes. Either the image has no stored full-size copy and no thumbnail, or the reference points at an image owned by a different Capable app. The site exporter reads library images using the publishing app's own access, so a reference left behind by the other app cannot be found.

Re-upload the image, or migrate the standalone library into the Suite so the reference points at an image the publishing app owns.
