Import an Unsplash stock photo

Drag a stock result onto a library folder. The photo is downloaded and stored as a library image, with the caption plus an author credit line ('Photo by <name> on Unsplash (<link>)') saved as the description.

#Worth knowing

  • Page attachments and stock photos cannot be referenced. Only library images resolve through the asset lookup, so the reference picker hides them and 'Insert N references' is disabled if one is selected.

  • Asset descriptions are silently truncated at 250 characters and stored titles at 50, so an Unsplash caption plus credit can be cut mid-sentence.
