Insert position control
When you insert an image from the byline, Capable shows a heading picker so you can choose where on the page it lands. Insert from the 'Image (Capable)' macro placeholder and there is no picker: the image replaces the macro right where it sits.

#Worth knowing
Galleries you insert and galleries you create by pasting a folder link do not start out looking the same. Inserting from the macro browser applies the insert defaults (corner radius 8, gap 16, small shadow) plus any brand guidelines set for your organisation. Pasting a link starts from the plain defaults (corner radius 6, gap 12, no shadow). This only affects galleries.
'Used on Pages' only counts Image reference macros, and only once they have been indexed. Images inserted as native copies, and gallery macros, never show up there. Indexing only happens on licensed sites, so an unlicensed or evaluation site lists nothing. A pasted reference link that was never re-saved is not counted either. The list shows up to 25 pages.
You cannot turn Images off for a single space. The Space settings screen only offers the Auto, Always and Never choice for capabilities that can be pinned to the nav bar. Images cannot be pinned, so its row simply shows an 'Available from Capable Menu' badge.
An image you edit before inserting it can be up to 3 MB.
