Cannot change who edits global images from inside Capable
What you are seeing
I cannot change who edits global images from inside Capable
#Why it happens
The REST endpoints refuse them. The Asset access tab is read-only by necessity.
#What to do
Use Capable settings → Asset access → 'Manage in Confluence' to jump to the CAPABLEASSETSTORE space's permission screen and change it there. Clear Add and Delete for anyone who should not change global images, but leave View so they can still place them on pages. Never remove the Capable app's own permissions. Indexing, AI, page copy and Sites deploy will fail silently.
