See the publishing audit log

To see the publishing audit log, open the space's Publishing page and select Audit log under Manage. It lists every bulk run, newest first, with its result and item count. Select a run to open Process Details, which shows who started it, the source and target spaces, its start and finish times and every log message.

#Before you start

  • You are on a space's Publishing page. The site-wide page has no Audit log.

#Steps

  1. Open the space and select Capable Publishing in the sidebar (in the Suite, Capable, then Publishing).

  2. Under Manage, select Audit log. Before 14 October 2026 it was called Audit Log.

  3. Select a run in Bulk Publish History to open Process Details.

  4. Scroll the log to see what was published, skipped or failed, and why.

#If it does not work

  • The Audit log only covers bulk runs, rebuilds and cleanups. Single-page publishes show in the page byline and the status lists instead.

  • If a run looks stuck, a Confluence administrator can select Clean Stuck to mark runs older than 30 minutes as failed.

  • Delete All permanently removes the history and logs, so use it with care.

Every run, on the record.
