Capable capability visibility controls
Publishing needs nothing extra to work with these controls.
#How it works
A Confluence administrator can hide Publishing across the whole site (Visible or Hidden). A space administrator can set it to Auto, Always or Never for one space. Both settings decide whether the Capable Publishing byline appears.

Site-level needs a Confluence administrator; space-level needs a space administrator.

Setting | Options | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Site-wide visibility | Visible, Hidden | Hidden turns Publishing off for the whole site, including the byline. |
Space visibility | Auto, Always, Never | Never turns Publishing off in that space. In the Suite, the byline appears on a page only when the space is set to Always or the page already has a publish record. |
