Notifications

Microsoft Teams support is coming soon.

One capability in the whole suite notifies anyone: Approval. If nothing in your site uses it, nobody will ever get a Capable notification.

Email, Slack and Microsoft Teams are not alternatives. For the same event, a message goes out on every channel a person has switched on.

#Who controls what

Who	What they can do
Everyone	Turn Email, Slack and Microsoft Teams on or off for themselves, in the Notifications section of their Capable settings or on Approval's Notifications page. Nothing they change affects anybody else.
Site administrators	Connect Slack and Microsoft Teams, and turn any channel off for the whole site, on the Notifications tab in Global settings. Manage notifications in the Capable settings opens it.

Slack channel broadcasts bypass the page read-permission check. A restricted page's title and link go to everyone in the channel. Read the Slack page before configuring one.
