#Where to find it

Capabilities appear in the Capable navigation, in the Capable byline on a page, and as macros in the macro picker, depending on what each one offers. An administrator can hide any capability site-wide, and a space administrator can control whether it shows in their space.

In the Approval sidebar, Manage holds Notifications (your own email, Slack and Microsoft Teams switches), Authentication, Space settings for space administrators and Global settings for site administrators.

#What changed recently

  • Approvers can get requests as Microsoft Teams messages, and answer from Teams once an administrator allows it. See Microsoft Teams notifications.

  • Each person now switches email, Slack and Microsoft Teams on or off for themselves.

  • The approval status banner is a switch on the Features tab, and on Approval's own Global settings.

  • Sites using the standalone Capable Approval app can move everything across with a guided tool. See Moving from a standalone app.
