Open the Capable command palette in Confluence

To open the Capable command palette in Confluence, press Command K on a Mac or Control K on Windows while you are in Capable, or use the Capable menu item. Type what you are looking for and pick a result: a capability, a macro, a diagram or image from the library, a template, or a help article.

#Before you start

  • The palette is part of Capable for Confluence, the suite. Standalone Capable apps do not have it.

  • It works inside Capable's own pages, such as the dashboard, rather than on an ordinary Confluence page. On a page, use the Capable byline instead.

#Steps

  1. Open Capable, for example the Capable dashboard.

  2. Press Command K, or Control K on Windows.

  3. Type a name, such as a capability, macro, diagram or template.

  4. Use the arrow keys or the mouse to pick a result.

#If it does not work

  • Nothing opens: click inside the Capable page first so it has focus, then press the shortcut again.

  • A capability is missing: an administrator may have hidden it, which removes it from the palette too.

  • A help article about installing is missing: help search deliberately leaves those out. Use the documentation directly.

Command K. Then type.
