Install, update and uninstall

Install and update are undramatic. Uninstalling keeps your diagrams, documents and other Capable custom content in Confluence, but deletes approvals, teams, calendar events and everything else the app holds in Forge storage and Forge SQL. If you are moving off a standalone app, migrate before you uninstall it.

Uninstall and reinstall is not a safe troubleshooting step. It keeps your diagrams and documents, but deletes approvals, approval history, teams, calendar events and settings. Atlassian can restore it for up to two weeks after the uninstall. If you uninstalled by mistake, contact Capable support straight away. After two weeks it is gone for good.
