Global settings has no Save button. Each switch saves as soon as you change it. Changes take up to a minute to reach other users, and up to five in an already-open tab.
#A few things that catch people out
There is no theme, language or date-format setting. Capable follows your Confluence appearance setting.
Two user settings live in the browser rather than your account: relative dates, and saved heading presets.
The email and Slack switches moved from the Features tab to the Notifications tab.
A site-wide notification switch beats everyone's personal one.
