# Settings reference

One table, for looking a setting up rather than reading about it. The Administration section explains the ones with consequences.

**Global settings auto-saves about two seconds after your last click**, with no Save button and no confirmation. Changes take up to a minute to reach other users, and up to five in an already-open tab.

## A few things worth knowing

* There is no theme, language or date-format setting. Capable follows your Confluence appearance setting.
* Two user settings live in the browser rather than your account: relative dates, and saved heading presets.
* There is no screen for configuring notifications.
