Every product has a shape people expect it to have, and this is where this one differs. Nothing here is coming in a particular release; it is simply not offered today.

The page exists so you can plan around it rather than spending an afternoon looking for a switch.

#Not available

  • A third macro. There are two Markdown macros, the document macro and the reference macro, and no others.

  • Markdown in Jira. There is no markdown issue panel, dashboard gadget or Jira global page, and no GitHub browser dialog.

  • Word and PDF export for the Markdown reference macro. Neither the Suite nor the standalone app supports it.

  • Your own diagram renderer. Diagrams in markdown code fences are always drawn by Capable's service. Self-hosted rendering is switched off.

  • Markdown actions for other AI agents. Neither product offers markdown actions to third-party agents through Rovo MCP. The standalone app leaves this out deliberately, and the Suite offers only the two approval actions. Only the app's own Rovo agent can use markdown actions.

  • A link icon in the document macro header. It never appears on the bordered header.

  • A macro Title setting that takes effect. The title you type in the macro settings is saved with the document, and the header text comes from the document's title.

  • A built-in sample document. No sample is offered as a template or starting document.

#A few things worth knowing

  • If one of these is the reason you are evaluating the product, say so before you buy rather than after.

  • The list changes with each release, so check the release notes before assuming it still applies.

  • Where the app's own wording differs from this page, believe the app.

Better to know now than hunt for a switch.
