What is not available

Every product has a shape people expect it to have, and this is where this one differs from that shape. Nothing here is coming in a particular release; it is simply not offered today.

The page exists so you can plan around it rather than spending an afternoon looking for a switch.

#Not available

  • No third macro.

  • The Jira markdown surfaces. Issue panel, dashboard gadget, Jira global page, GitHub browser modal and the MarkdownGadgetConfig / SAMPLE gadget constants.

  • Reference-macro Word/PDF export: no adfExport is declared for cf-mc-mdref in either product.

  • Self-hosted diagram renderer for markdown fences: the code path exists but is switched off by SELF_HOSTED_KROKI_DISABLED = true .

  • Rovo:mcp tools: neither product publishes markdown verbs to third-party agents. The standalone app omits rovo:mcp deliberately and the Suite's rovo:mcp lists only the two approval verbs. Only the app's own Rovo agent can call markdown verbs.

  • Dead UI: the link icon on the bordered document-macro header never renders. The gate compares the stored URL string against the literal 'url' .

  • The document macro's title parameter is never written into the macro config by the released UI. The header text comes from the stored document's title.

  • The uiSchema exposes only title, url and options, and the released config is a custom picker/editor rather than that form.

  • MarkdownSelecModalNavSelector. No importer anywhere in the workspace.

  • SAMPLE_MARKDOWN. A sample document constant nothing imports; it is not offered as a template or starting document.

  • No behaviour of its own.

#A few things worth knowing

  • If one of these is the reason you are evaluating the product, say so before you buy rather than after.

  • The list changes with each release, so check the release notes before assuming it still applies.

  • Where the app's own wording differs from this page, believe the app.

Better to know now than hunt for a switch.
