What you are seeing

I cannot find the Markdown macro in the Capable macro catalogue or ⌘K.

#Why it happens

The document macro is deliberately hidden from both. Only the reference macro is listed.

Insert it from Confluence's own macro browser, the Capable insert modal, or the page byline.
