'From library' items are missing from the editor's Insert menu
What you are seeing
The 'From library' items are missing from the editor's Insert menu.

Those items come from the Images and Diagrams capabilities, which the standalone Markdown app doesn't include.

Use 'From upload', 'From web' or 'From code' instead. Or move to the Suite, which includes them.
