Something is missing or looks wrong
Start from what you are seeing rather than from what you think is broken. Each page below names the symptom, explains why it happens, and says what to do about it.
Several of these are the product working as designed, which is worth knowing before anybody raises a ticket.

“From library” items are missing from the editor’s Insert menu | They come from the Images and Diagrams capabilities, which the standalone Markdown app does not include. |
“Copy as macro” is missing for a template | Only documents stored in Confluence get a reference URL. The built-in Examples ship with the app, and markdown loaded from a URL or an attachment has nothing to reference. |
Nothing on this site is indexed and markdown counts stay empty | Indexing only runs where the app is licensed, so on an unlicensed or evaluation site nothing is indexed. |
