Markdown settings
Markdown has no settings tab of its own. Its settings live in the shared Capable settings pages, and this is the complete list.

Setting | Level | What it does |

Global settings → Capabilities → Markdown | Site (Capable global settings) | Hiding Markdown removes it from the Capable nav bar and the content byline menu across the site. It does not stop existing macros from rendering. |
Space settings → Space Capability Settings | Space | Auto shows the byline entry only when the page already carries markdown. Always shows it on every page in that space. Never hides it there. |
Global settings → Features → AI integrations | Site | "Allow AI-powered features across Capable. Turn off to disable AI for all users." Turning it off removes the Studio (Generate markdown with AI) section from the markdown catalogue. |
Global settings → Permissions | Site | Controls who can edit the Global library, and so who can create Global markdown templates. The same setting covers diagrams, images, calendar and search. |
Global settings → Egress domains | Site | Domains you approve are loaded directly by the reader's browser instead of going through the Capable proxy. That also lets their images load without a Capable token. |
Global settings → Indexing | Site | Runs an on-demand indexing pass that the byline count, the "Used on Pages" panel and markdown search queries all depend on. |
Global settings → Migration | Site | Markdown is included in the Migration tab. |
There is no Markdown-specific settings tab | n/a | Every switch above is a shared Capable setting. |
#A few things worth knowing
Settings changes can take a minute to reach other people.
Hiding a capability removes it from the navigation. Macros already on pages keep rendering.
Some settings are per space and need only a space administrator.
