Dismiss a quality issue on a Confluence page
To dismiss a quality issue on a Confluence page, open the Quality item in the byline, select the finding and select Dismiss. The finding moves to the Dismissed section and leaves the count once you reload the page. Select Restore all in the panel header to bring dismissed findings back.
#Before you start
You need | Why |
|---|---|
Capable Quality, or the Capable Suite on the Advanced edition | Quality is part of Capable Quality for Confluence and the Advanced edition of the Capable Suite. |
Edit permission on the page | Fixing, dismissing and restoring change the page, so they need edit permission. |
#Steps
Open the page and select the Quality item in the byline.
Under Findings, select the rule you want to dismiss.
Select Dismiss in the detail view header.
Reload the page to see the byline count go down.
#What happens next
The finding is listed under Dismissed with Dismissed on and the date. It stays dismissed for this page only. To bring every dismissed finding back, select Restore all in the panel header.
Dismissing does not work for Disallowed domain links, Disallowed macros, Third-party macros, Stale content or Disallowed labels. The button is there, but the finding stays. Change the page instead. See Dismissed a quality issue but the byline count did not change.
