What you are seeing

The Dashboard is empty or shows zero everywhere on a site that clearly has problems.

#Why it happens

Usually "not indexed yet" or "not yet aggregated", not "no problems". Four different empty messages mean different things.

#What to do

Read the message. "Space data not yet collected" or "No space data yet. Collected weekly." means the weekly sweep has never completed. "No history yet. Collected weekly." means fewer than one weekly snapshot exists. The amber "indexing incomplete" banner (shown below 95% coverage) means pages are still being indexed. Only "No issues to chart." means the counts genuinely returned zero. Check Manage → Indexing for coverage, and use Refresh (admin only) to queue a sweep.

#A few things that catch people out

  • Cross-space figures are up to a week old, and Refresh queues a background sweep rather than repainting the charts. A brand-new install shows "Space data not yet collected" with empty trend and top-spaces charts until the first sweep completes.

  • The empty-page word threshold (10) and the no-headings minimum (100) are fixed. The settings model accepts values for them but no screen sets them and the detection code ignores them.
