Show a Smartsheet as an interactive table in Confluence
To show a Smartsheet as an interactive table in Confluence, choose the sheet in the Smartsheet macro, pick Interactive table under How readers see the sheet and select Apply. Readers get a read-only table they can filter, sort and search. No publish link is created, so the sheet stays private in Smartsheet.
#Before you start
You are logged in to Smartsheet in the macro, on a Business or Enterprise plan. See Connect Smartsheet to Confluence.
You can open the sheet in Smartsheet.
#Steps
Edit the page and insert or open the Smartsheet macro.
Choose the sheet under Your sheets, or paste its sheet link.
Under How readers see the sheet, choose Interactive table.
Select Apply.
Select Set up viewer access so readers without their own Smartsheet login can see the table.
Publish the page.
#What happens next
Readers click the table once to start interacting with it, then filter, sort and search. The data is read from Smartsheet when the page is viewed, so changes in the sheet show up without editing the page.
With viewer access set up, readers see the sheet through your private connection. They see what you can see in that sheet, so only use it for sheets your Confluence readers may read. See How readers without Smartsheet see the Interactive table.
#If it does not work
Readers see a connect panel instead of the table: viewer access is not set up. See this troubleshooting page.
A table that worked stopped showing data: see Interactive tables that used to work stopped showing data.
It is slow or never loads: see this troubleshooting page.
