What you are seeing
The macro says "This link can't be embedded"
#Why it happens
The URL is not a Smartsheet publish surface. Only https links to publish.smartsheet.com, publish.smartsheet.eu, or app.smartsheet.com/.eu on the /b/publish path are allowed, and this is enforced when the page renders.

Replace it with a Smartsheet publish link, or pick the sheet through a connected account and let the app produce the link.

#A few things that catch people out
Picking a different sheet clears the stored publish link and signature, so the macro shows nothing until Apply is pressed again. This is deliberate but easy to miss.
Signature minting after Apply fails silently by design. The other two access checks still apply, but a macro copied to another page can lose viewer access with no visible cause.
Licensing wraps every surface in production. A missing or expired licence replaces the app with "License Not Found" or "License expired", including inside a macro on a public page seen by an anonymous reader; the macro's anonymous-access declaration does not exempt it.
