Turned "Show Border" off (or on) and the file looks exactly the same
What you are seeing
I turned "Show Border" off (or on) and the file looks exactly the same.
#Why it happens
Show Border only affects the macro's non-content states. The unconfigured "Select File" invitation and the anonymous, not-connected and error cards. A successfully loaded file is never bordered either way.
#What to do
Expect no visible change on a working macro. The setting only changes how the placeholder and error boxes look.
#A few things that catch people out
Re-picking a file silently resets Show Border and Show Line Numbers to true and drops Description, because the save routine rebuilds the whole configuration from scratch.
