Find Confluence pages that use GitHub files
To find Confluence pages that use GitHub files, open the Capable app from Confluence's apps menu and choose Github, then All files. Every page with a Github file macro is listed with its space and repository. Use the file-type entries on the left, or the Capable Search filters, to narrow it to one repository, organisation or type.
#Before you start
You can only see pages you have permission to view.
A page appears once Confluence has indexed it, which can take a few minutes after it is published.
#Steps
Open the Capable app from the Confluence apps menu.
Choose Github in the list of capabilities.
Select All files to list every page with GitHub files.
To narrow by type, choose an entry under Browse, such as Markdown, Diagram or Code.
Select a row to see the page's files in the panel on the right, and open the page from there.
For finer filters, use Capable Search: it adds Minimum Files, Repository, Organization and File Type filters, and Files, Repositories, Organizations and File Types columns. See Capable Search integration.
#What happens next
The list reads Confluence's own index of your pages. It never contacts GitHub, so it is quick and works without a GitHub connection. On a single page, the page byline shows the same thing: it counts the files, such as 2 files, and opens a list of them.
#If it does not work
Just added a GitHub macro but the page does not appear in search or in the Github catalogue
Filtered search by File Type "ts" (or "py") and got no results
