Use more than one GitHub account in Confluence
To use more than one GitHub account in Confluence, open the Browse Git Repositories window, open the account menu and choose Add account, or select Manage Connections and then Add Account. The picker merges repositories from every account you link, and a macro that cannot read a file with one account tries your others.
#Before you start
You have already connected one GitHub account. See Connect your GitHub account to Confluence.
In your browser, sign in to github.com as the second account first. The GitHub window authorises whichever account is signed in.
#Steps
Edit a page with a Github file macro and open its configuration, or insert a new Github file (Capable) macro and select Select File.
In the toolbar, open the account menu (it shows All Accounts) and choose Add account. Or select Manage Connections, then Add Account.
Authorise the app in the GitHub window as the second account.
Back in the picker, use the account menu to show All Accounts or just one.
#What happens next
Manage Connections lists each linked account with its avatar. The repository list combines all of them without duplicates, and the Organization and Visibility filters work across every account.
When a page loads a private file, the macro tries the account that added it first and then your other accounts, so you rarely need to think about which one has access.
#If it does not work
The second account's repositories do not appear: you probably authorised the same account twice. Sign out of github.com, sign in as the other account and add it again.
A public repository you do not belong to is missing: the picker lists your own repositories. Paste its link instead. See Cannot find a public repository I do not belong to in the picker.
