You can link more than one GitHub account, for example a work account and a personal one. The repository picker combines the repositories from all of them, without duplicates. If one account cannot read a file, the macro tries your other accounts automatically.

On a Confluence page, insert the "Github file (Capable)" macro and select Connect GitHub. Or open the macro's configuration and select Connect in the Browse GitHub dialog.

There is no GitHub settings screen

Nowhere

GitHub adds nothing to Capable global settings or space settings, and there is no admin screen for connecting your whole site to GitHub.

Hide GitHub across the whole site

App property capable-global-hidden-capabilities, object name hiddenCapabilities

Hides GitHub from the Capable byline menu for the whole site. It only affects that menu: existing GitHub macros keep showing on pages.

Turn GitHub on or off per space

Space property <APP_HASH>_capable, object name capabilities.alwaysOff or capabilities.alwaysOn

alwaysOff hides GitHub from the byline menu in that space. alwaysOn shows it even on pages with no GitHub macro. Again, the menu only: macros still show.
