What you are seeing
The byline is missing everywhere, or in one space.
#Why it happens
Either an admin has hidden GitHub across the whole site, or the space has GitHub switched off. Readers without a licence and logged-out readers never see the byline either, because their access covers the macro only.
#What to do
Check the site-wide hidden-capabilities list and the space's General settings tab. Hiding GitHub does not stop existing GitHub macros from showing on pages. It only removes the byline.
